I take Pure Encapsulations MicroDefense 3 to 4 times a year to kill parasites and bad bacteria. This has been the most effective treatment for my condition (SIBO/parasite infection) to date. I take 3 capsules 3x a day for 10 days and then take a 5 day break. Then I do a second round of 3 capsules 3x a day to capture anything that wasn’t caught in the first round. I take multivitamins to compensate for poor digestion. I've been using Pure Encapsulations Nutrient 950 for several years. I take a separate calcium supplement which covers ~60% of recommended daily value. Periodically I take a break to see if it makes a difference. I definitely notice it.

This diet has helped me the most: - Minimize wheat. Small amounts can be okay if eaten periodically (not daily). - Minimize dairy. Small amounts can be fine periodically (not daily). Butter is okay daily. - Minimize sugar. Small amounts are okay periodically. - Cook vegetables to remove parasites. Safe vegetables are broccoli, bok choy, cabbage, tomatoes, bel...

Kombucha and water kefir contain live probiotics from fermentation. I drink a minimum of 16 oz. a day, sometimes 32 oz./day if I hit a sale (16 oz. bottles are ~$3 USD at the supermarket). I notice a decline in health when I stop drinking these beverages so I know they have a positive effect. I made my own water kefir using a starter kit from https://www.culturedfoodlife.com (the site lists the bacteria/yeast in the crystals). It's a lot cheaper to make your own but it requires a little bit of time (15 - 45 minutes...
