Having a good probiotic definitely makes a difference. Finding a good probiotic has taken some time. So far, these have yielded the best results:
• Mercola Complete Probiotics (70 Billion CFU) - It recommends 1 capsule daily but I had better results with 1 capsules 2x a day. They can be purchased on the Mercola site or on Amazon. I’m trying Mercola Complete Probiotics for Women (70 Billion CFU). I’ve used one bottle so far and haven’t noticed a big difference from Mercola Complete Probiotics.
• Jarrow Formulas, Jarro-Dophilus + FOS, 3.4 Billion — I found these to be helpful and these can sometimes be purchased in supermarkets. I take 3 capsules/day.
The common denominator is B. longum, L. acidophilus, B. lactis, L. rhamnosus, L.casei and L.plantarum. Mercola has a few more strains like Lactobacillus salivarius, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum.
Probiotics, MicroDefense and Garlic capsules are, to date, the most effective treatments for my condition.
